How Much Storage Do I Need?

This is hands down the most commonly asked question. We have plenty of space in our warehouse to store your items. All you need to do is determine the size of the unit you need. The guide below is by no means definitive, but it will give you a good idea of the storage unit size you may need.

Is there really a difference between an inside unit and an outside unit?

Absolutely. There are several differences. What are the benefits of an inside unit?

Do I need to make a reservation to get a storage unit?

We prefer that you make a reservation to ensure that you can get a storage unit. Although we have plenty of units, we can never guarantee that you can get the particular unit you are looking for. We recommend that you reserve your storage unit at least one to two weeks in advance. That will give us time to make sure the unit is ready for you when you arrive so that there are no problems. Remember, the sooner you reserve your storage unit, the better.

Are your storage units climate controlled?

Yes. Your household items are protected from sunlight, temperature fluctuations, humidity, moisture, wind, and severe weather. In fact, there are multiple layers of protection from the outside elements. That means you’ll never have to worry about flooding.

Can pests get into my valuables?

All storage units are completely sealed off from pests including destructive insects such as ants and termites. We spray our facility regularly and conduct routine inspections to make sure that no living creatures can inside your storage unit.

How secure are your storage units?

Security is your top priority. It’s also ours. How much security do you need? Our storage units are located inside our facility and protected by our advanced security system. Your storage unit doors will be secured by either a lock or a combination lock or both. We have security cameras placed around the facility. The only way to get inside the facility is by using a personalized entry code.

How do You Protect Your Facility From Fire and Smoke?

Our facility is equipped with an advanced fire detection system, smoke alarms, and a sprinkler system that adequately distributes water across the entire facility. Your storage units are fire and smoke proof. They are completely sealed off from any type of flame or smoke. While we can’t guarantee that your belongings will not smell like smoke in the event of a fire, we can guarantee that no smoke will enter your unit and destroy your valuables. Your items are also insured against fire or other destruction.

Are there any times when I cannot access my storage unit?

There are certain circumstances in which access to your items may be limited. We have some security measures that ensure that your items are protected. We’d rather discuss this in detail with you in person. So, if you have concerns about when you can and cannot access your storage unit, please let us know. We’re happy to go over the details.

Do you offer month-to-month rental plans?

We have flexible plans to suit almost any need or situation. We realize that there is no one-size-fits-all storage plan. Ask us about our short-term storage plans. Keep in mind, that our month-to-month rental plans may include an additional fee or a higher rate since your commitment is for a shorter period.

What are your vacancy rates and fees?

Feel free to contact us about all our fixed costs. We are happy to outline all of our fees and give you a bottom line cost for renting a storage unit. Our fee and rate structure are different depending on what type of storage unit you rent or what storage plan you go with.
